Here offered is a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Solitaire Doue Black/Sterling Silver Rollerball Pen. This model, as I understand, was manufactured in the early to mid 1990’s. This particular pen is not the mechanical twist model (which I believe is the ballpoint), but rather features a beautiful sterling silver removable cap with inlaid pinstripe pattern, highlighted throughout in 12 Karat gold (this may be 12 Karat gold plate over silver). The Mont Blanc logo, of course, is displayed regally at the crown of the cap. This model of a timeless design also has a barrel made from precious black resin. The Pen length, when closed, is 5 1/4 inches. There is an inscription, a serial number, on the clip that reads: EV 1001993 Germany METAL 2. The inscription on the silver cap reads: AG925 (regarding the silver content) plus a seal of some sort below. The Gold band in the center reads: MONT BLANC MEISTERSTUCK. This Pen is used (but as it looks, it was used very little), free of defects, and still dazzles! I virtually cannot see any scuffing on the barrel or cap. This Item is shipped free Priority Mail (USA Only). It does NOT come with original box or papers, but will be delivered in a protective felt pen sleeve and packaged with utmost care.
