In this auction we are offering a magnificent, collectible and limited, Special Theme Edition Creation Lalique Desk Set created by Montblanc and Lalique.   This auction also includes a bonus Montblanc Meisterstuck Fountain Pen, No. 149.   This desk set and pen is in great condition, see below for more details.

For more than 100 years René Lalique, more than any other name, has been synonymous with glass design and crystal art of world renown. Lalique, who actually trained as a jeweller during the Belle Èpoque, began his second career as a glass designer in the year 1903, and founded one of the longest-standing and most famous factories of all times, the glass and crystal works that bears his name.  Création Lalique is quite typical of this extraordinary writing set made of the material that René Lalique was better than anyone at working.

Made by master craftsmen using pure crystal and adorned with 925 sterling silver decorations, each set contains a pen holder, an inkwell and an ink blotter. The engraved individual numbers emphasise the uniqueness of this set.
